Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, automating, and managing production-grade infrastructure and applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Linux administration, networking, and database management.

This role requires someone who has worked on modern cloud-native architectures, microservices-based platforms, and highly available production systems. You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams to build secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure while driving automation and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering
  
  • Design, deploy, and manage production-grade infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Build highly available, scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud environments.
  • Implement cloud networking, security controls, monitoring, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Optimize cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Kubernetes & Containerization
  
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes.
  • Design and maintain highly available Kubernetes clusters for production workloads.
  • Implement best practices for scaling, resilience, observability, and security.
  • Manage ingress controllers, networking policies, storage configurations, and cluster operations
• CI/CD & GitOps
  
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, primarily using GitHub Actions.
  • Automate application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
  • Implement GitOps workflows and deployment strategies.
  • Work with additional CI/CD tools where required (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform (preferred) or similar IaC tools.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Ensure infrastructure consistency across development, staging, and production environments.
• System Administration & Automation
  
  • Administer Linux-based production servers.
  • Develop automation scripts using Bash and/or Python.
  • Troubleshoot system performance, availability, and reliability issues.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response processes.
• Database & Migration Management
  
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or ClickHouse.
  • Plan and execute application and database migrations with minimal downtime.
  • Ensure database performance, security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Security & Compliance
  
  • Implement infrastructure and application security best practices.
  • Manage secrets, certificates, access controls, and security policies.
  • Conduct security hardening for cloud resources, Kubernetes clusters, and Linux systems.
  • Ensure operational compliance with organizational security standards.

Required Skills

• 3–4 years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering.
• Proven experience managing production-grade environments and deployments.
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker or other container technologies.
• Strong experience with GitHub Actions and solid understanding of CI/CD principles and GitOps methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform (preferred) or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell Scripting and Python.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies, Firewalls, VPNs, VPCs, and Cloud Networking.
• Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and managing MySQL, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse.
• Strong command over Linux server administration and troubleshooting.

• Experience setting up and managing cloud environments from the ground up.
• Production-grade application deployments on cloud infrastructure.
• Deploying and managing highly available and scalable applications on Kubernetes.
• Implementing security best practices across infrastructure and application deployments.
• Handling application and database migration projects.
• Working with N-tier application architectures.
• Supporting microservices-based platforms and distributed systems
• Designing and implementing GitOps-driven deployment workflows.
• Managing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for production environments.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
