Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design and manage complex, large-scale data systems. You will architect robust pipelines, ensure real-time and batch data processing, and enable reliable analytics and AI workflows. Your work will empower our teams to make data-driven decisions faster and with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and maintain high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines using Kafka, Spark, Airflow, or similar tools.
• Design scalable, secure data platforms on AWS (Glue, Redshift, Athena) or GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub).
• Implement real-time data ingestion using Kafka and process massive datasets efficiently.
• Manage SQL/NoSQL databases for analytics and operational use cases.
• Develop and maintain optimized data models to support BI, AI, and ML applications.
• Partner with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to define data requirements.
• Enforce rigorous data governance, lineage tracking, and quality checks.
• Lead and guide junior engineers in building high-quality data solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-5 years in data engineering with cloud-native solutions.
• Proficiency in dbt.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD automations.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong Kafka (or Kinesis/Pub/Sub) experience for event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on with Spark, Flink, or similar.
• AWS or GCP data services (Glue, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and one JVM language (Java/Scala).
• Strong understanding of data lake/warehouse/lakehouse patterns.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
