QA Intern

Job Overview:

As a QA Intern at Datum Labs, you will support the Quality Assurance team in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. This internship offers hands-on experience in manual testing, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, professional environment. You will play an important role in maintaining established quality standards across our applications.

Responsibilities:

• Execute manual test cases for web applications.
• Perform smoke testing to verify build stability.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure system stability after changes.
• Identify, document, and report defects with clear and accurate details.
• Assist in API testing to validate backend functionality.
• Review business requirements and functional specifications.
• Maintain test cases, test plans, and QA-related documentation.
• Collaborate with developers and QA team members to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Support day-to-day QA activities as required.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

• Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals and testing principles.
• Knowledge of Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, Black-Box Testing, and White-Box Testing.
• Basic understanding of API testing.
• Familiarity with SDLC and STLC.
• Ability to design, execute, and document test cases.
  
  

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a professional corporate environment.
  
  

Preferred Skills (Plus Point):

• Experience with Postman.
• Experience with JMeter.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic knowledge of web technologies or APIs.
• Understanding of automation testing concepts.
