AI Engineer

Datum Labs is seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer with a strong foundation in software engineering and hands-on expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of software engineering experience combined with practical knowledge of AI/ML technologies, including model development, deployment, and modern AI frameworks.

What We Are Looking For

Programming & Software Engineering

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Solid experience in software engineering principles and practices
• Knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms
• Version control using Git

Data Science & Analysis

• Familiarity with core data science libraries:
  
  • NumPy
  • Pandas
  • Matplotlib
• Experience in data collection and visualization
• Proficiency in SQL
• Strong understanding of probability and statistics

Machine Learning & AI

• Machine Learning Fundamentals
• Deep Learning
• Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Computer Vision
• Experience with model deployment
• Knowledge of Generative and Agentic AI
• Must be familiar with:
  
  • Fine-tuning models
  • RAGs (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
  • Vector Databases
